Taketa Majeed was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. She attended UW-Wisconsin-Whitewater and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Taketa later attended UW-Milwaukee and earned a Master’s of Science in Educational Psychology/Community Counseling in 2012. Throughout the years, Taketa has worked within the Bureau of Milwaukee Child-welfare and the State of Wisconsin as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor serving youth and adults in Milwaukee County. At this time, Taketa serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor as an independent contractor and owner of Cause We Care Guidance and Counseling Services, LLC providing therapy to youth and families addressing trauma, breaking generational curses, and helping individuals cope with life stressors and mental health.
